Trust Without Borders

Hi friend! Perhaps you are a little like me: In the everyday moments where life happens, it's easy to give into fret.

Fear.

Doubt and insecurity.

The world’s "no."

It's easy NOT to amen God's yes on your life.

But I've discovered a little secret. It’s never too late to start new habits. Because truth is, we can change what we’re amen-ing.

You know that little verse that says “all the promises of God are YES in Christ Jesus.”

(It's II Corinthians 1:20 in case you were wondering.)

Well that verse also says, “to which we also say AMEN, to the glory of God.”

All the promises of God are YES in Christ but they must become AMEN by us.

“Amen” means “This is true. This is certain. Let it be.”

When I discovered this little phrase and really let it sink into my heart, I realized that instead of amen-ing the gnawing fear that so readily surfaced in my heart, I could consciously and deliberately amen the promises of God.

Instead of amen-ing the inner naysayer, the outer cynic, the doubt, the hopelessness, everyone else's “no,” I could began amening God’s “YES.”

So I did. And as I daily amen-ed God's promises over my life, things began to happen...

I discovered that God-pleasing, soul nourishing trust grows when we give verbal affirmation to what God has spoken over us.

I began to experience a rich, robust intimacy with God like I'd never experienced before.

I watched as God brought healing to damaged emotions, increased my confidence as a woman and child of God, and deeply nourished my spirit.
